I can't think of one good thing

In short, avoid this company at all costs. Bullying and threatening behaviour is dealt with by informal conversation and without speaking to any members concerned. Members of management single out members of their own team as important and others as unimportant in front of the team and MD which is extremely unprofessional. Man Eng staffing decisions are made by a literal coin flip rather than putting any effort or thought into it. The same department offer no support or desire to do the bare minimum of their jobs. L&D team is more like a friends and family development and delivers nothing of meaning. HR do not want to do anything and will not acknowledge any grievance or issue as it is too much work for them (that's when they are actually on site). Instead directors are told to pressure people into dropping concerns rather than actually address then. On top of all of this, you are sold a promise of progression and prospects which either do not exist or are blocked at every step along the way. Only certain demographics are employed in engineering roles and it is borderline discriminatory Overall this company is getting worse and not better and no concerns raised on here or in employee surveys have ever been addressed and never will unless something changes

New business sector, good manager, varied role, always busy.

Some staff struggle to lose their production mentality, we're R&D. Inconsistent approach to rules. WFH rules inconsistent and archaic, roles that could be more effective without distractions away from the office have to give way because the of others who have to be present with the machines.
