We do encourage hybrid working which gives our employees flexibility to work both from home and from the offices. We have had feedback from our employees on how they feel hybrid working encourages a positive work / life balance and promotes a culture of trust.
As a growing business, we need to ensure we are adapting to external changes within the market, which can mean decisions being made and reprioritisation of inhouse projects. Throughout COVID-19, the situation in Eastern Europe and the cost of living impact, it has meant at times we have needed to change our direction of focus in order to do what is best for the business, our employees and our customers. We understand that change can sometimes be perceived as a negative, however any changes made are considered thoroughly and only made when in the best interest of our employees to future proof the business. in these chalmenigng times.
We regularly get great feedback from our employees on how we have talented people working at UK Flooring Direct with unique skills, who are experts in their field and real team players. Through our partnership with North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College and local universities, we support our family members through their development and offer a range of training, qualifications, apprenticeships alongside performance reviews and goal setting process to aid development and provide clear direction.
