Pros
Very flexible depending on the Professor that is the instructor for the course, I have TAed lab and regular classes, just don't let the professor work you over the necessary hours.
Cons
Working with students and/or professors that are utterly dense. Be aware of what the professor says in class, by even going to class to ensure that you are both on the right page.
