Pros

• Half day Fridays -- it really makes a big difference even though it's "only" half a day shorter than a normal work week • Compensation (salary) -- definitely above the market rate • Subsidized benefits -- they absorb some of the cost of health insurance even when there are substantial increases for them • 401k matching and immediate vesting -- need I say more? - Leadership that actually seems like they care about the employees and our wellbeing • A "no fly zone" on the lunch hour -- people don't book meetings from 12pm to 1pm so we can actually get an hour for lunch • Fully remote -- no requirement to go into the office

Cons

• We work in silos (but sometimes that's not the worst thing) • Sometimes it gets really busy and you have to work through your lunch hour or work on a holiday, but most managers work with you to get that time off elsewhere in the day or on another day

Pros

CEO is phenomenal, excellent benefits and work life balance.

Cons

Infosec culture and professionalism could be better. The soft skills of some teams meme era could be improved.

Pros

If you like to switch around onto different teams, they love that and will support horizontal movement with the same pay. Lots of employee engagement opportunities even though it is remote.

Cons

Too much change going on with the FHFA getting too involved. Threatened to bring employees back to the office, then stayed remote again. People got laid off, and instead of hiring more people they just rotate people horizontally instead of promoting people vertically. The amount of projects and work keeps increasing but there is not enough staff to support it, ends up becoming a toxic environment of overworking. No pay boost either, just arbitrary work rewards to appreciate you.
