      Pros

      My team was excellent and our manager was very supportive. I attribute my length of employment there to my immediate manager. They encouraged me to expand my role and abilities. Their tutelage set me up for my new position at another financial institution.

      Cons

      The pay was terrible and the yearly reviews were always skewed. Upper management refused to accept anyone was top tier. We often heard no one is allowed top marks. Merit increases were less than cost of living often and there was never a good time to talk about raises. The bank proved time and again you had to leave and then return to get fairly compensated.

      This used to be a great place to work, but after Gunjan Kedia took the reins, this job has been nothing but a nightmare. You get on a pip if you aren’t making above and beyond what is expected of you sales-wise. I’ve seen this place go from collaborative and positive to toxic and competitive when she became CEO. My employment is being threatened after doubling my numbers after my pip, but nothing is ever good enough at this point. You want burn out? You want to lose a piece of yourself? You want to be a punching bag? You want to gain trust issues? U.s. Bank might be the perfect place for you!!
