This is a great place to work if you're passionate about design and architecture. It's a small firm, so you'll have the opportunity to work on all aspects of architectural practice. This presents a fantastic opportunity for those who don't want to get "siloed" in a larger corporate office. Competitive salary and benefits.

I gave this review 5 stars based on my experience working here. The work in this office can be rigorous and demanding at times, so TEA won't be the right fit for everyone. It's also a small office lacking the vibrant social community that a larger firm naturally provides. I didn't see these as cons during my time at TEA, but I understand that these aspects of TEA might not mesh well with what many people look for in a work place.

In my time with this firm, there was great attention to the needs and desires of clients while elevating the quality of the design, the response to the site/context and the long term experience within the built projects. All of this while respecting budgets and schedules. Within this context, I had the opportunity to be mentored directly by the principal which has been invaluable in my current position with another architectural firm.

People that I worked with at this firm benefited greatly from the rigor of the office as I did. However, like in any firm, those who could not lean into the work and needed excessive supervision did not succeed. I would recommend this firm to self-starters and those who are curious and want to grow.
