Pros

- Everyone I've met has been more than willing to help me get up to speed - The work is fun, complex, varied, and genuinely innovative - There are tons of opportunities for professional development (for ALL employees - outbound calls, customer service reps, tech folks, etc.) - The HR (or "people ops") department is great about taking care of employees (ex., they hired an in-house therapist) - They take work-life balance very seriously - They really listen to employees (ex., there's a survey where anyone can give feedback about anything at any time and actually get a response within a week or two)

Cons

We have a huge number of customers, so when things get busy/urgent, they can get VERY busy/urgent. But that's all part of the fun, innit? 😁

Two Barrels Response

Hello there and welcome to the team! This is a shoutout to all our employees who do an awesome job of onboarding and welcoming new teammates - thank you all! Our business does ebb and flow - makes it hard to predict workloads but we do our very best to respect work life balance even in those busy seasons. We're glad you think it's fun ;) We totally hear you on insurance costs. We actually have switched providers for 2024 because they were able to help us lower costs!

Pros

Pay, benefits, and PTO are pretty nice. Good retirement options and match. In office culture can be good, but isn't always. Tech stack is really easy to use and lots of opportunity for development. Management invests heavily in juniors. Diverse income streams with high margins, with quality office spaces.

Cons

Grew too fast and hired some pretty terrible people. People who are stubborn, defensive, not collaborative, anti-social, and occasionally rude. CEO is wild. Asks for too much, can be aggressive, oddly witty, and stays private. It's like you're talking to a deity sometimes. Not enough shaming for overworking because they "preach" about work-life balance. Managers will occasionally say they worked late or a bit on the weekend, making you feel guilty that you didn't.
