Pros

Not many pros, work remote

Cons

Heartless CFO, returned from maternity leave only for my position to be eliminated effective immediately, 10 days from Christmas. Also being fired from HR with your coworker on the call just staring and looking down at their lap, where that same said team member sends a D pic to the entire company wide chat with zero consequences. Completely inappropriate. CFO berates team members on calls, makes everyone uncomfortable. The company has zero direction, always looking for people to blame when the ball gets dropped. There’s a reason the turnover is high. Do yourself a favor and find a company with integrity that respects moms in the workforce.

Pros

Good salary. Remote. A couple of genuinely talented and hardworking individuals who care about clients.

Cons

Much of the company's culture reflects the leadership style of the owner. Communication is often one-directional, conversations can feel more like lectures than discussions, and alternative viewpoints are frequently dismissed rather than explored. Employees and clients may leave meetings feeling unheard, regardless of their expertise or firsthand experience. There appears to be a strong preference for compliance over collaboration. Decisions are often made based on what leadership believes should happen rather than what employees or clients are actually communicating. This creates frustration, slows progress, and undermines trust. The owner has a significant influence on every aspect of the business, which can make it difficult for managers and employees to drive meaningful change even when opportunities for improvement are obvious. Many of the issues cited in employee reviews over the years (turnover, unclear expectations, communication problems, and morale concerns) appear to stem from the same source. Until leadership is willing to examine its own role in these recurring patterns, meaningful improvement will be difficult.
