Cons
First, why are negative reviews being removed? The reviews are now misleading because there were at one point over 5 negative reviews warning prospective employees about what they could expect working for Tulip. Strange. The leadership team isn't focusing on the obvious - keeping employees happy. Lunch on Wednesday is great but it takes a lot more to make employees feel valued and happy. The development teams seem pleased but if you take a close look at the product, delivery, sales and marketing teams, there is turnover, job-seeking and/or palpable low morale. Leadership thinks this is the fault of the employees and doesn't realise that they need to take a good hard look at how they are leading the company. A few facts: - Employees fear for their jobs. - Certain leadership members treat employees with disrespect and have even stated that no employee is irreplaceable. - Employees aren't empowered to speak up and disagree with leadership. It's leadership's way or the highway, no matter how large or small the decision may be. - HR can't make a dent in the (negative side of the) company culture because leadership doesn't give them the runway they need to make change.
