Requires you to be a self-starter and wear more than one hat at times.

Most colleagues were respectful, open-minded, and very enjoyable to be around on and off the job. Wide variety of skills could be learned to due to the wide variety of jobs/projects.

Smaller company so less pay than one might typically see as a Controls Engineer. This used to be not such a bad Con since it was outweighed by the Pro of being a smaller company. However, this leads to the main Con, management is either non-existent or worse to the point you'd wish it was non-existent.
