Worst employment experience of my life - dishonorable sweatshop of a company - Outside Sales Representative TruGreen Employee Review

Pros

The only good thing about working at TruGreen is leaving it in your rear view mirror

Cons

Constantly misleading employees, promising 1/2 day Saturdays, lower sales quotas, only to continually tell the staff that they missed the number (regardless of performance) and that they will have to work until 6:00 on Saturday, instead of noon as promised. Sales people have to birddog their commissions to make sure they get paid properly. More weeks with problems than without. Management does not care and does not stand up for their sales staff. Rather - constant brow beating to get better numbers. The company talks about doing the right thing, but lies and misleads its customers as badly as it does to its staff. No concern at all for customer complaints, does not honor Do Not Call registries, badgers both existing and cancelled customers with constant telemarketing, and does not honor its commitment to customers to make good on damaged lawns, or ineffective applications. Simply - a dishonest company.
