Pros

so many available hours very independent great coworkers

Cons

you will get sexually harassed as a server. at any given moment in the day, an old man will have something to say to make you uncomfortable. this isn’t necessarily troons fault, more so just golf club environment… (come on, have you ever seen trump?) I will say, everyone is well aware who is doing the harassing and who is being harassed but nothing is done. hr is impossible to get ahold of over something like this and the girls are left to work in a building or on the course all by themselves. this causes more opportunities for harassment, and they will take it. old golf men just don’t have a care in the world for women, especially if you’re older teens/ young 20’s, so you will hear the most vile stuff ever, but nothing will ever be done about it. pay is not good, a good bit of the time it’ll cost more for you to be there than it’s worth (have I mentioned the mental strain from all the harassment?) you can also work yourself for as long as possible, as hard as possible with no opportunity to move up, or get a raise. turnover rate is horrendous

Pros

None I could tell during my time there

Cons

Despite catering to the top tax bracket around the country (and world) they try to do thinks behind the scenes as cheaply as you can possibly imagine. Was told by management that “everyone here works through their lunch” and that leaving after ONLY eight hours might set a bad example for the rest of the team. The work was hybrid so on the days I was in office I worked usually about 9.5 hours straight. After being hired I was encouraged to point out any technologies or processes that could be improved and those changes would happen. Instead they were ALL shot down as “too expensive” and nothing changed. This rather run on harder that was cheaper to throw out and replace when it breaks than hardware with any kind of brand support or warranty coverage…because support coverage costs extra. There is no documentation at all, about anything. The closest are some “checklists” to follow when doing anything repetitive. They also have workplace productivity spyware installed on all their employee laptops.
