Pros
Troll and Toad is a "mom and pop" type of online retailer, if there can be such a thing. The owner would like to think of himself as a father figure to all of his employees. There is definitely a sense of family with this company, albeit a very disfunctional family but a family none-the-less. There is a very relaxed attitude about the place and generally, your co-workers and even bosses, are your friends. Many of the employees are from all over the country, so you get the sense that you are being exposed to things you would not have experienced at any other company in Barbourville, KY.
Cons
In my opinion, the worst part of working for Troll and Toad is the askewed pay structure. Some employees seem to get all the pay and respect they want with as little work as possible while other employees seem to struggle for every dime. There also appears to be a little sexism as male employees make much more than their female counterparts. Another downside would be the ever-changing atmosphere of an online retailer. You never know whether you will still be relevant tomorrow. There is very little job security and even less job satisfaction. While you never run out of criticism from your boss, praise seems completely unattainable, at times.
