Pros

Work from home was not a problem.

Cons

One of the first things I heard from the CEO was 'I apologize in advance if I offend anyone... I have been told I do that!' This place is one red flag after another. Jono, the CEO, likes to paint himself as some off the cuff laid back but firm boss. In reality, he is unprofessional and childish. He is constantly dropping f-bombs and gloating about how much his team uses their in office bar. This place also screams nepotism - there are far too many family members and life long friends of Jono's in leadership in this company. Many of the long term employees love their brash and egotistical leader. It is cringe inducing.

How it is going now 2022 edition: 2020 was a crazy year for Tripleseat, a merger with our competitor, Gather and navigating COVID. Fast forward to the new year of 2022 and Tripleseat has not only survived but thrived. Tripleseat has had less than 5% attrition of employees (Nat'l average is @ 40%) and has hired more than 30 people in 2021 alone. We have successfully brought back our company outing with a trip to Nantucket in August of 2021 and (once again) reached our company-wide goals for 2021 and everyone will share in the success with our company bonus. The merger was hard on everyone but especially for the folks at Gather. They had to deal with a lot of changes in an already confusing time with COVID. The frustration from the merger is real and the review of Tripleseat and the people reflect that, but it is not a accurate insight into our culture or leadership.
