Pros

The culture is awesome. From what I've heard about other logistic companies, Trinity is way more focused on developing talent and building a strong team. The team is really helpful. I really didn't know much about logistics going into it, but the rest of the team is super supportive and always willing to explain something or answer my endless questions. My direct supervisor is incredible. He gets how to cultivate a positive work environment. Not hung up on a lot of the old ways of thinking/managing. Understanding that people have a personal lives, kids, obligations outside of work and is willing to accommodate. Very insightful bits of advice for selling as well. Huge wealth of experience in the industry.

Cons

It's a lot of cold calling.

Thank you so much for your review! Culture and strong servant leadership are two significant aspects of what makes Trinity a successful company and we couldn't achieve that without an amazing team committed to a mindset of teamwork and growth! We are so glad to hear you feel supported by your manager and thank you for being a part of our team and doing what you do everyday! We wouldn't be us without you!

Pros

NONE - management at this organization (Trinity Logistics specifically, not its parent company of Burris Logistics) thinks they are kings & queens of the corporate world. Typical big fish, small pond mentality, as they think that their “power” in their little corner of Delaware applies to the entire country & world. Typical favoritism, management blame due to their lack of knowledge/experience, etc.

Cons

EVERYTHING! Management is poor. The CFO is honestly a pretty terrible person (even though as a pastor, which is odd in itself for a CFO, claims to care). Management all around is terrible…they base employment & advancement in the organization built on who you know & are friends with, not what you know (this culture was poorly built by the former owners of the company, so I guess the current state is better than when they owned it. Performance expectations are high, but accountability only applies if you are not in the inner circle. Finally, they rely on drivers to generate income (since they are brokers) but they do not care about them at all…horrible organization & management!
