Pros
Good work from home policy depending on your manager. Stock purchase program. Good co-workers that you can learn from (if they stick around).
Cons
There was a review that called this place a “factory of sadness” and it pretty much hits the nail on the head. Morale is way down. Management is lying to the customers about capabilities of products and chasing buzz-word tech to make the marketing seem better (Powered by Hadoop, Wide Tables, NiFi, Blockchain {or Blockch0n if you’re really in the know!}, etc..) Leadership has zero direction for the products and at least one of the leaders (the one that can’t spell) is a big time plagiarist. Very unethical. My last manager was like a seagull; normally soaring high and out of sight, but occasionally he would swoop down, make a bunch of noise, and crap all over everything. He had no idea about my team, the work we did, how our product worked, or the value it delivered. Nor did he have interest in figuring it out. He managed by emergency, constantly applying pressure down and BS up. I was paid below market; I got a 28% pay increase by changing jobs. I will say that if you don’t like your job at TMW you can always wait 6 to 9 months and a re-org might change everything!
