Great Place to Work - Employee Tri-Rinse Employee Review

Don't listen to the negative reviews from truck drivers or disgruntled plant employees. I'm sure they've bashed every company they've worked for. The current CFO is the best boss I've ever had and it's clear ownership really cares. I never fell like just an employee here. Sure, there are tough jobs out in the plant but I did them all when I was around 23 and weighed like 125 pounds. Overall I love my job here and hope to retire at this company.

1. The 401k match sucks. They match 25% of the first 6% you save (1.5% of your salary). My wife's 401k matches 100%. 2. Of the 12 years I've been here I have been criminally underpaid for about half of them. They've got me up to market s couple times with nice % increases after I did the research myself and stated my case (which is never easy) It shouldn't have to come to that but I understand they have a lot of employees who also need to be kept happy. While I appreciate their positive response for sure, I'm not exactly super grateful for getting exactly what I'm worth.

I’ve been told the health benefits are good. Unfortunately I don’t have the time off to confirm.

The pay is very bad. You’ll make as much as a Walmart cashier. The environment is extremely dirty. A supervisor has threatened to end my life but still has their job. You will occasionally have to deal with wild animals jumping out of the bins. If they’re not bloated and rotting. You will be forced to drive between the Earth City and Saint Louis. An hour both ways and if they think you took to long they will write you up no matter the excuse. You will not be reimbursed for your gas money. You will be constantly berated for things outside of your control. You are forced to work to Saturdays a month. If there was a holiday that week you will not receive overtime. If you miss for any reason you will be terminated. A man was just fired for missing Saturday because he had to take his daughter to urgent care. Yo will be given almost no time off and will be socially punished for using the time you do have.
