I worked at Tri Pointe Homes for several years, and unfortunately, the experience was far from positive. The senior leadership is unskilled and incompetent, often promoting individuals who have “failed up” rather than those with genuine talent and vision. This has resulted in a poor culture where mediocrity is the norm. Employees are forced to rate the company highly on surveys like Great Places to Work, and there are repercussions if you don’t. This makes the glowing reviews you see completely misleading. The work environment is toxic, characterized by backstabbing and cliques.
