Pros

Trestor knows to how to treat the knowledge workers well. They assign the job and fix up a deadline, then they leave you free. You can go home or do whatever you want. Just complete the task in time, that’s it !

Cons

They started off well with some seed capital. The founder took care of the employees so well initially . Funds dried up and no capital to run the show. So no salaries for the past few months. Key employees left and product not fully ready. Unable to raise funds. It is chaos all over ! Nowadays I come to work, do my best but without pay. In my young age, Trestor taught me few things. 1. Bhagawad Gita says, without being attached to the fruits of activities, one should act as a matter of duty. I stopped thinking about salary. I do my duty.. just work ! not to worry or desire about results / salary, just perform ! 2. Hindu Dharma : The act of helping others can create an improved sense of well-being. Our Dharma encourages people to help others and do charity. Helping other individuals or start-ups is also a new dharma. Give your efforts and never expect anything in return ! I was a happy go lucky guy in the college. But within few years of my graduation Trestor has changed me a lot, inculcated a spiritual feeling in me. Taught me Bhagawad Gita and Hindu Dharma in no time .The founder is not just a start-up techie, he is my spiritual guru !

Pros

There are no pros of working at Trestor. It is the worst company. Its not even a company. Just a guy running a huge scam.

Cons

0 work life balance No road map, no product vision Incompetent higher management. In fact its non existent. This is an absolute scam. The CEO and his right hand men are highly deluded. They do not pay regular salary to their employees. The CEO has no experience and has never built a solid product. He keeps giving references of companies which he built, that are running successfully called IBI Biosolutions and Soft algo. Glassdoor has not allowed to paste the site links. So please take a moment and check the websites of these companies out for yourself to find out how successful they are. All the products mentioned in the website are mockups and half built. Please check out the credentials of the current employees to find out how experienced and successful this startup is. Also a lot of names mentioned in the about-us page are people who are not associated any more with the company. Please consult with the individual people and former employees before even thinking of stepping into this company. The CEO will constantly tell that the company has handpicked people from IIT and BITS. All the people from BITS have left the company except 1 person. And the only IITian who was associated in the past is now not even remotely associated with the company. They have no idea how a company runs. And no idea how technology is built. Overall the worst company to be associated with.

Pros

The founder of the startup is a person brilliant thinking and ideas. There are amazing problems statements that are built up on the ideas for engineers and designers to work on. Everything is questioned fundamentally and looked from a different perspective. The idea behind Trestor has also been well appreciated by Nandan Nilekani and Viral Shah. Apart from that, the company is growing up fast working on quite unique ideas and scaling up the team. The company has an open culture, you could reach out to anyone and talk to them. A startup person would love to be in such an environment!

Cons

Trestor is a different kind of startup, and there have been times when this was painful. Recently the startup has gone through a liquidity crunch and for which payouts were due for a long time. This also created a negative aura and few people started to call it a scam too. Recently some ex-employees were creating nuisance and rumors. Things are mismanaged, but that's how a startup generally starts off with.
