Pros
-Paycheck is decent -Low expectations -Fairly stable work If you want a job where you can show up, put out minimal effort, and go home with a paycheck, this is a great opportunity. Eventually you learn the pattern and what to expect each day. It's a place to spend 8-10 hours each day.
Cons
-Poor performance is tolerated or ignored -Company is only interested in stock price -Lots of lip service and very little action Oak Brook is not a team, they are a bunch of individuals looking for promotions and titles to take to their next company. Corners are cut at the plants in the name of "lean" manufacturing. Plant projects are always about cutting costs or staff. Projects are never about true process improvement. This company survives only on its size and large customers.
