Frustrating - Operations TreeHouse Foods Employee Review

The culture here is nearly dead. Proactivity by lay people is discouraged while upper management bottlenecks decisions and tasks. Suggestions often not welcomed, management seems to want status quo. Little communication, leaving employees to guess what's going on with the company, where we personally stand within the company, and where the company stands in the marketplace. Difficult to get trained, have to figure things out for yourself, reinvent the wheel. I've seen toxic managers who shouldn't be in positions of authority stay for years while good people leave due to the stress of working under said people. Many are left feeling forgotten, unheard, and frustrated.
