Pros

Declining morale has produced a lot of open positions for people to join.

Cons

You may be quickly terminated without any feedback from a manager. HR terminates people without proper (including false) justification to allow for recourse or corrective action from employees. 0 strikes and you are out!

Pros

The people are by far the best part of working at Treasure Data. I worked with incredibly talented, supportive, and collaborative colleagues who made even the most challenging days worthwhile. There were also strong opportunities to learn, take ownership, and contribute to high-impact initiatives across the business.

Cons

Employees often work very long hours due to lean staffing and constantly shifting priorities. The CEO frequently introduced new initiatives and changing directions without fully considering the impact on existing workloads or team capacity. This created a reactive environment where it was difficult to focus and plan effectively. There was often a disconnect between leadership messaging and execution, with promises made that were not always followed through on. The company also lacked a consistent long-term vision, which contributed to uncertainty and made it challenging for teams to stay aligned on strategic priorities.
