Pros

Their onboarding process is well outlined and detailed for efficiency and convenience for new hires. The job itself is fun, engaging and manageable. I also met some generous and genuine people during my brief stay.

Cons

The leadership within my management structure exhibits unprofessional conduct and frequently approaches management decisions with excessive emotion. My direct manager withholds pertinent information from the team, hindering effective communication with other directors and managers regarding the scope and responsibilities of my role. This lack of clarity complicates the fulfillment of my duties especially when another director assigns tasks to an associate. Moreover, there exists a longstanding toxic culture characterized by disparaging remarks, power dynamics, and a misguided emphasis on revenue as the primary measure of individual value within the company. Instances of ridicule disguised as humor are prevalent, fostering an unhealthy work environment. Additionally, the higher management team fails to effectively disseminate crucial information from directors’ meetings to department members, creating significant challenges in executing projects, particularly under time constraints. The absence of standardized operating procedures further exacerbates these difficulties. Furthermore, some directors frequently encroach upon the boundaries of an associate’s role, creating an environment where asserting boundaries can lead to negative repercussions. Rather than fostering proactive learning and development, officers practices an approach which necessitates constant questioning, detracting from effective training and skill acquisition.”
