Worst Work Culture I’ve ever Experienced - Engineer TravelPass Group Employee Review

Pros

They had a great vision and a great mission but could not seem to follow through on it. When I started they acted liked they really cared about their employees and your thoughts on things. They were open to feedback but in the last year that completely changed.

Cons

If you disagree with the president you lose your job. Everyone who stood up to him was let go without any reason. He also treats his employees like they do not what they are doing. Its very disrespectful and degrading to people in those fields. Sadly, there are way more cons than pros working for Travelpass Group. It’s shocking to lose multiple c-suite level people, VP levels and Director levels. I’ve never worked for a company that has let that many people go within such a short period of time and for no valid reason.

Pros

1. **Opportunities for Beginner Growth:** The company is excellent at providing individuals with a start. 2. **Talented Workforce:** They hire exceptional people, contributing to a high-quality team environment, I loved my squad leads there and learned so much from senior developers and others I worked with. 3. **Good Owner:** The owner is genuinely a good man, I can feel it.

Cons

The work environment can often feel chaotic, driven by a "go fast" mentality that prioritizes speed over careful planning. Communication issues arise between the president of the company from poor listening, which can hinder true collaboration and desires to belong to the company. Additionally, employees often feel that pay raises need to be aggressively pursued rather than being a straightforward process. While the owner of the company is a good person, it's clear that the management style does not align with his values, impacting the overall workplace culture.
