Pros

Laid back atmosphere, friendly coworkers. If you do your job, the foreman and supervisor don't bother you. You can even stop and chat with coworkers for a minute between jobs you're doing. Good pay with plenty of overtime opportunities.

Cons

Focus on diversity hiring over quality personnel means poor workers. In an effort (read: forced) to be more inclusive by law, horribly ineffective and toxic people have slipped in, killing morale and causing drama every day. I'm hoping management fires these people because they are making the company and other workers there suffer. Tools have to be borrowed from the trainer. There is no standard operations book to have on hand, assembly is all by word of mouth instruction. Trainer is overworked and spread too thin. We have to wait to use simple hand tools because there is no accountability to have one's own set and to be responsible for them. No program in place to fix this as far as I know. Also, for some small assembly, there is no place to sit to do tedious tasks. You are stooped over a table which causes discomfort after about an hour. So, instead of being comfortable you are thinking about how much your feet, back and neck are aching from being in a poor ergonomic position. Would be much more efficient at working if a simple stool or chair was put in place. Production would increase and employee would not be in discomfort.
