Pros

You can easily work just 15 minutes at a time - sometimes less - at any time of the day or night, from anywhere you can get an internet connection.
Cons
The pay - while the best I've found for no-experience, no-commitment, high-interruptions online-only work - is not going to touch what you could make in a corporate environment. Making minimum wage here means you are doing well. While some do earn a living at transcription, "extra cash" is the best fit for this job.
