Pros
Most of the people there are good people unfortunately having to deal with inept C-Suite decisions.
Cons
Compensation is well below the average and constantly made as minimum as possible with 6 holidays and 15 pto total. They even tried to remove the company match on the 401k without anyone noticing but that led to many questions so they simply reduced it to the lowest possible match. For QA there is no career opportunities beyond getting qa II as thats the highest available position and anything higher is still "being fleshed out" as it has been for about 3 years. Constant late night deployments with little to no notice as the C-suite love to classify everything as a patch or hotfix even if it's an entirely new feature. They lose people left and right due to this and more which leads to scattered knowledge base of their systems as nothing is well documented and pretty much everything is learned through word of mouth. HR is a joke as the person hired for it was a friend of ceo's and hired simply to "check a box". Nepotism is the running theme as many hires are the result of it and enjoy much more privileges than other employees where some even get to change their titles every so odd months. Managers have no real control and are just middlemen for the C-suite not given the ability to implement the changes needed to actually better the processes and environment, timelines are often unrealistic and they expect full features to be done and tested in a week tops at times and don't want to give any actual time for regression. CXO loves to micro manage and mistakes it for actually managing while making condescending remarks to any who have respond to them unfavorably all the while not actually understanding how any of the systems inherently work and having to ask others how to word her questions to appear more knowledgeable because they were also a nepotism hire. there's much more that could be listed but bottom line is inept management starting from the very top where even their clients hate working with them and have said if there was a competing company in this industry they would jump ship.
