Pros
1. The opportunities are boundless and you get to learn new and exciting things everyday. Very fast paced start up with a vision to cater as many customers as possible. 2. Remote based work at the moment due to covid and the guys at the top make it as seamless as possible. Management makes sure that WFH setups are taken care. 3. Management is active and willing to listen to inputs given by employees from all wakes of departments. There is no bottlenecking of process, they ensure they provide all the necessary tools to get the job done. 4. The founders are very approachable and they are willing to go extra step to cater to the needs of employees. 5. You are not limited to one department. If the employee shows enough scope and hunger to learn, show results, the opportunities are endless in different verticals. 6. The vertical which I work doesn't micro manage. I strive when I have enough creative space and that is exactly what my vertical provides.
Cons
1. Work hours can be long as the month on month average new users and active users are increasing. I bought into the vision and knew hours are going to be long. Not everyone's cup of tea. One may need to work 1-2hrs longer on some days if any issues comes up. 2. It can be overwhelming to some. The growth at which Transak is growing, one needs to be flexible and should wear different hats as per the requirement. It's a great learning and growth opportunity but can be overwhelming. 3. Compensation for the extra work/hours should be looked at by the leadership.
