Pros

- Pays well - Good work/life balance

Cons

Nearly everything. Management and leadership are joke words at TransGrid. There is no achievement because there are either no clear goals set from the outset, or the goals change on a week-by-week basis, or the goals are “set after the fact” to suit an individual leaders needs. The business is under-resourced to the point that nothing can be done because everyone needs to rush from meeting to meeting rather than work. Everyone is so scared of “being walked” they say “yes” to every ridiculous request (no matter unfeasible) then point fingers when they fail to achieve the goals that were never possible in the first place. Management is a title, not an actual job (at least not full time, I’ve only ever received sporadic management, I honestly couldn’t even tell you what my manager expects from me).

Pros

WFH Flexibility and OK Pay

Cons

Too much work and company not wanting to change for the better. There is lots of talk about doing good and improving but in reality there is nothing that the top management want to do other than keeping their position and keeping on doing restructure after restructure.
