Pros

I have been an Account Manager at Trane for a little over 3 years. This is a great company that does not micromanage its salespeople and offers a great opportunity to make a lot of money. The freedom given by management allows sales people to make their own schedules, however you need to be disciplined and self-motivated if you want to sell anything. The sales team is very money motivated so a young sales person should be aware of this if they are looking for a different type of company dynamic.

Cons

The workload is variable and can get overwhelming. Atmosphere is very competitive, which can turn some people off if they are not prepared/willing to join this type of sales team.
