Pros

You can start off with little to no experience and work with some great clients and families. There is a flexible work schedule. If you are a paperwork person, this is a good job for you.

Cons

Supervisors are disrespectful, demeaning, and unsupportive. They use gaslighting to make you feel inferior and will not hesitate to lie to further their cause, such as accuse you of lying, accuse you of stealing, lie to unemployment, and tell you you can get supervision hours when there is nobody to supervise you. The supervisors are egocentric and get a rise out of making you feel inferior, but then pat themselves on the back for “doing a great job.” If you like to stay in good with them (no matter how the quality of your work is) engage in brown-nosing; it’ll get you far. They will promise you reasonable caseloads, but then increase it like crazy and make you feel terrible for not being able to keep up if you don’t brown-nose up to the supervisors. The turnover rate is very high, which is a big contributor to high caseloads. The clients and families are generally fantastic if you do your job and stay in contact with them, but TTI doesn’t care about you helping and enriching the lives of clients; they care about paperwork and billing. The clients are just numbers to them. They will push you to extend visits way past the point of usefulness just to be able to bill Medicaid more. They will not hesitate to get rid of you, even when sick. Do not expect any raises or bonuses; you won’t get them, even though other agencies pay more. Don’t expect higher pay for increasing your credentials either. If you’re desperate, give it a try, but heed these warnings.

Pros

The health insurance is really good. It's affordable, and coverage is really good. I really also like my jobs and the friends I've made here. Good team environment.

Cons

Lack of base pay raises. There are good incentives to boost your pay, so that helps.
