Pros

They work with great technologies like Django and AngularJS. Moreover, you learn a lot working with a small startup. I feel like I gained a lot of experience working there that I would have not gained working at somewhere that's established, only because I worked directly with the people that were running the company. If you are trying to one day start your own company, it's probably beneficial to see first hand how people go about doing it.

Cons

The pay isn't great. I never got to be a full blown Software Engineer there, but if I had their offer would have only been 75K (plus a 9% stock bonus). It's not the place to work if you want to make a lot of money, unless you get promoted quickly.

Pros

You get to learn many different technologies such as Django, AngularJS, Symfony, and Laravel. Working directly with the CTO was great and he really taught me a lot. If you are interested in learning more than just the software side of things there is many opportunities to work with the project manager and other aspects of the business. I enjoyed working with an international team and being able to collaborate, as well as a flexible schedule and opportunities to work from home. Be prepared to try to learn a lot of things on your own. Eric, The CTO believes that you need to grind things out and really put in an effort to solve a problem before resorting to asking for help. I can see the value in this but sometimes it can be painful. Overall a great place to work!

Cons

The pay could be better, but the experience is overall worth it.
