I normally don’t write reviews, but after seeing the same vague 1-star comments popping up every week or so, I felt the need to speak up — because a lot of what’s being said just isn’t true. Let’s start with the facts: • We do still have unlimited PTO — no reduction. • Bonuses were paid out, and people who delivered results were recognized with raises and promotions. • Leadership remains accessible and transparent — even when delivering tough feedback. I’ve been at TNS for a few years now, and while it’s not perfect (no company is), the constant stream of short, negative reviews doesn’t reflect the reality of what it’s like to work here. What’s frustrating is that some of these reviews are clearly written based on out-of-context info, twisted to fit a narrative. It’s not helpful — and it’s not honest. This is a company that expects accountability, values open dialogue, and rewards performance. If you’re doing your job, bringing ideas, and growing — you’re going to feel supported here. I encourage anyone reading reviews to look beyond the noise. Talk to real employees, ask good questions during your interviews, and form your own opinion.

Now for a bit of a reality check: • The pay is good, but not exactly top-tier compared to big tech or high-growth startups. • Medical insurance is on the pricier side. • The 401k match is minimal, and there’s no ESPP. That said — it’s decent overall. I can feed my family, save money, and I feel like I’m building something meaningful here. There’s also a strong culture of accountability and transparency, which I personally value — though I get that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. So no, it’s not a perfect company. But the constant 1-star hit jobs don’t tell the real story either. If you’re serious about your work and want to be part of a company that’s evolving and open to honest dialogue, TNS is worth considering.

Pros

I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews but I will share that this company is on a very positive trajectory and we are growing. We have a great CEO who is transparent and honest with employees and an ELT that is always looking to improve operations for the better. The departments and teams behind the software are some of the best in the business and there is a genuine feeling amongst everyone that we are headed towards an exciting future. There is a lot to love with this company, including the opportunities for growth, open door approach with management and valuable monthly company meetings. I am excited to be a part of the trajectory of this company.
