Pros

They have a very generous vacation policy.

Cons

I have worked here for almost 4 years and have seen the company go through highs and lows but they have lost their way. Numbers are down (and not because of COVID) offices are closing and the executive team don't seem to have a plan. There is no longer a focus on the customer or employees, just on utilization and the bottom line. New CEO just seems to be there to sell the company again and is promoting friends and family from the inner corporate clique or bringing people in from outside the company that don't understand what the company does or what made it successful. It also seems to be ok for people on the executive team to sleep with junior employees which is really disappointing at a 'progressive' tech company. For Trace to survive, its time for at least half of the leadership team to be replaced by people that have real experience in this industry and put the focus back on the client, otherwise this continues to becomes another average VAR.

Having said this, while we welcome and encourage constructive feedback and dialogue, there appears to be some misinformation that bears correcting. Trace3’s business is thriving, and we continue to open new offices, expand into new territories, and have a record sales year despite the coronavirus epidemic. Credit for this performance goes to our amazing team of loyal employees who have done an excellent job in coming together, taking care of each other, and always staying focused on delivering on our commitments to our clients, partners, and each other. Our strength as a company has shined through this strange and stressful situation. We are so grateful to our employees for effectuating the vision set and communicated by senior leadership. Our vision and focus on our employees and clients are supported by our new CEO and the entire senior leadership team, and we take pride in recruiting and hiring the best and the brightest. The leadership team consistently and openly has communicated our strategic intentions for the next decade at Trace3, including further investments in geographic expansion and enhancements to our technical capabilities around crucial industry topics, like; Cloud, Security, and Managed Services. Finally, as it relates to your comments regarding personal relationships within the company, which are governed by the company’s policies against fraternization between supervisor and subordinate, if you are a current employee, we encourage you to bring your concerns to your manager or POH for dialogue. If you are a former employee, we wish you only the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Trace3 has an incredibly supportive and compassionate leadership team. Managers genuinely care about their people as individuals, not just employees, and they consistently show up with empathy, encouragement, and trust. There’s a strong focus on professional growth, with plenty of opportunities to learn, take on new challenges, and get exposure to projects that align with your interests and strengths. Collaboration is a huge strength here. Teams work well together across roles and functions, and there’s a true sense of consistency in how people partner and communicate. No one hesitates to step in and help when needed — even outside their immediate responsibilities — which creates a culture of shared ownership and mutual respect. On top of all that, the culture is genuinely fun and energizing. People are smart, driven, and kind, and the environment makes it easy to enjoy the work you’re doing alongside teammates you actually like working with. Trace3 strikes a rare balance between meaningful work, strong support, and a positive, engaging culture.
