you don't have a base salary. You get paid $1.35 per phone call completed but if you're on hold for 15-20 minutes and they tell you that they are unable to give you any information you don't get paid for that call and you have to mark it unavailable. So you only get paid per phone call that you can get information, and you're calling hospitals and medical clinic so more often than not these places will tell you that due to HIPPA they can't provide you with that information.
