Pros

I worked at Home Health Care Management as the Executive Assistant - I enjoyed everyone I worked with, along with the Directors and Management Team (besides the CEO). Everyone was very welcoming, helpful and always showed appreciation.

Cons

CEO! I could not believe the things that I would hear come out of Constance Morrison's mouth. She would call the directors/management and/or employees idiots, stupid and anything else that "suited" her at the time. She put up a very good show for the board members, but if only those board members would know who she really was and how she impacts the company in such a negative way maybe they would reconsider her being the CEO. She thinks that because she has a military background that she is "perfect" and she should run HHCM/BVNA like the army.. No one there signed up for the Army, they signed up to do a job and for the greater purpose of making a difference in people lives. I was also able to see the way that she treated one of the Executive Assistant's and that was absolutely heartbreaking. This Executive Assistant would jump and run at Constance's request. Even when the Executive Assistant DID A GREAT JOB as she always did, or submitted things to the county and got approvals, Constance would never say Thank you, or Great Job or way to go, she never showed appreciation to the poor Executive Assistant.

Thank you for the feedback and we’re sorry that you feel this way. To stay ahead of the curve, and our jobs safe in a dynamic landscape in healthcare, our CEO has made many progressive changes. The reality is that the healthcare landscape has been undergoing massive changes, and to be able to stay competitive in our market and financially fit we needed to make many big changes. We had to overhaul and improve processes for tight standardization, resulting in 4.5 star rating in quality standards and earning an accreditation by The Joint Commission – practically unheard of for our region’s home health care facilities. While adjusting to change can be difficult sometimes, we do believe in rewarding our team, appreciating effort, and incenting for great performance, with extra time off before holidays, with cars for nurses, and employee gatherings to know each other better.
