Pros

I worked at Touchstorm for a couple years. Being a young professional I was brought into the company at an entry level position and quickly grew in the company both in compensation and title. The company really supported me and gave me incredible opportunities including traveling overseas, producing video all over the country, and great responsibility. The company also has a great book of Fortune 500 companies which allowed me to work with big brands like Covergirl, Gillette, LG, Pampers, Olay, and more.

Cons

While NYC is the company's headquarters the execs and about 75% of the company work remotely all over the country. This makes for a very quick office but with that I also had the flexibility to work at home which allows me to travel often.

Pros

I am a boomerang employee, in that I used to work at Touchstorm several years ago and found myself back at Touchstorm. That in and of itself should show how great this company is! It’s not often you find yourself going back to a previous employer, but Touchstorm has always had a special place in my heart. From the people, to the innovative knowledge sharing, to the endless potential to contribute to something really great, Touchstorm really feels like one of the few employers left who is willing to work with you on what you need. I used to be a Senior Account Manager and came back as a part-time Channel Manager that eventually transitioned into full time. At this point in my life, I’m really looking for something flexible and accommodating and Channel Management has given me just that. I didn’t have previous channel manager experience, but the team is so great at training you up and letting you thrive that I truly believe you can excel at whatever role you want at Touchstorm. There are tons of people that have been there for years, and continue to lift each other up in a way that feels like the stability you need from a company. I truly can’t say enough great things about this company. And Alison, the CEO, is extremely personable and willing to have a conversation about just about anything. She’s the type of person you don’t fear going to to get some advice or just to talk about any new ideas you might have. She’s really curated an environment of innovation, growth and most importantly, community. If you’re interested in a company that is willing to trust you and treat you like the amazing employee you know you can be, Touchstorm is the place for you!

Cons

Not many I can think of, there is very much an open door policy to allow anyone to voice any grievances so they can be addressed and resolved, so if anything came up, you can trust that management will listen and come up with a plan to help resolve any problems.

Pros

Loved that it was remote. I worked with some really intelligent folks.

Cons

The company drained me . There were 5 lay offs in my 1 year span of working here causing extra work load for us. The accounts are cool accounts to put on a resume but the leads of these organizations were condescending and unorganized. The morale was at an all time low once I left. Leadership was out of touch with accounts and day to day ops. They cut corners hiring over sees employees but not fully competent. So many more things I can say but I've moved on.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback. However, we do not recognize ourselves in your comments. Regarding your comments on layoffs, our policy is to consider them only as a last resort. We implemented one small layoff during the COVID-19 pandemic, which affected a very limited number of individuals. Conversely, we are exceptionally proud of our team's commitment and expertise. This is evident in our average employee tenure, which exceeds seven years, significantly surpassing the industry average of 2.8 to 4.3 years. We also have a unique history of former employees returning to Touchstorm. In the past year alone, five colleagues have rejoined us after pursuing other opportunities. Furthermore, we respectfully disagree with your assessment of our international colleagues. Our diverse client base necessitates a highly skilled and experienced global workforce. Many of our international team members have been with us for five years or more, consistently demonstrating their value and expertise to clients, colleagues and senior management. While we strive for a thorough hiring process, we acknowledge that a role may occasionally not align with an individual's expectations or career trajectory, leading to a separation. We wish you the best in your future professional endeavors.
