Pros

I'm currently a behavior technician at Total Spectrum as a position I'm doing in-between finishing my bachelor's and applying for medical school. - My co-workers are all very considerate and clearly love working with kids. - My supervising BCBAs have been very professional, kind, and helpful. - Scheduling has been very accommodating of my requests regarding fairly low hours while I'm in the process of studying for my MCAT and working a couple other small jobs.

Cons

- They were not very clear on training requirements, so in addition to the initial 40 hours of training (which I believe is somewhat reduced now), for the first few weeks, I would keep receiving unexpected emails about additional hours-long trainings that were never previously mentioned - There are (in my opinion) way too many different apps and websites that the company uses. Catalyst, UltiPro, CentralReach, Outlook for work email, Learning Lab.... It's been hard to keep track of my log-in info for all of them and which is used for which purpose. - Drive time to work is not compensated unless it's over 30 miles and between successive sessions.
