It is a position that allows you to make your schedule and is flexible. It allows you to interact with lots of accounts and individuals in order to maintain your quota.

There is a lack of communication and support from upper management.

Pros

Middle management is very helpful and easy to work with. Branch leaders attempt to make up for upper management's shortfalls and poor company policy.

Cons

Wages are below industry and they do not compensate for travel. Oncall is required by all nurses, even per diem staff. It goes for 1 week. In that time expect to drive 40 to 60 miles to see a patient without travel compensation. Seems like nurses are not respected as professionals.
