Pros

Work from home is a big ++++ for my family and I. It does take a little bit of time, but once you can navigate the portal, a lot can be done for the clients, quickly and efficiently. Never setting around doing nothing. There is always something to be done, whether it be evidence review, scheduled meetings with clients, impromptu calls with clients, vendors, penetration test teams. Schedule flexibility is another huge +++. I need to run to the store. No problem, just make the time up later that day. Just do not make clients wait or miss deadlines on projects. Pretty simple things for most people and organizations.

Cons

Consulting turnover seems to be a slight issue, before and after me. I am not sure of the exact reason for that, and it is not my position to dwell on that.

Pros

The owner and his leaders were patient and reasonable.

Cons

The software is simply not ready for prime-time and the leadership seems unwilling to except reasonable suggestions. Case in point, I sat in any number of meetings where their customers displayed confusion as to the most basic functions. When suggestions are made, they prefer to display and defensive posture. Some of their customers were years old and their feedback was ignored. Over all there were many great personalities, but I was concerned when the owner fudged a Incident Response Table Top exercise and may be ignoring dozens of wireless networks and card swipes. I left the organization prior to the final call on that decision. I hope they eventually made the correct and ethical call.
