Pros
Fun place to work, decent union.
Cons
It genuinely costs money to work here. They talk a big game about EDI, with zero actual initiative.
Employees are being asked to pay 30$ for background checks by HR, even after years of service, despite the policy previously having simply been filling out a form. Not only this, they slash your hours constantly, so you pay to get no hours.
HR is super unprofessional.
Discriminatory hiring practices, requiring a driver's license where it is not a core duty, violating OHRC subsections 23(2) and 11(1).
Management is unclear about expectations and sets contradictory goals.
