Pros

The culture is friendly/supportive, and managers/co-workers are very helpful. Work/life balance is excellent as well. I was able to learn a lot in my position, and if not for other opportunities would have continued to work there.

Cons

No huge issues - some work tasks can be tough, but no requests made of me were unreasonable.

Pros

I have never felt more valued as an individual contributor than I do at Topbox. My work is meaningful to the overall success of the company, and the executives always listen to the feedback/ideas of my peers and myself. I always feel challenged but supported; accountable but trusted.

Cons

There is a extra bit of responsibility placed on the engineer to manage their time and work. This can be intimidating/challenging for anyone who requires explicit directions/guidance before starting work. However, it's very nice for anyone who can manage and drive their own work.

Pros

Topbox is moving fast! Multiple new employees are joining the team weekly and the client portfolio continues to expand. In the middle of it all is an outstanding onboarding experience. The leadership team, as well as others within the organization took the time and care to make sure I was brought on board to be productive as soon as possible. They are all welcoming of new ideas and feedback in a way to continually improve. Every employee is valued in the role that they perform to help Topbox be successful.

Cons

I am a remote employee so it's important to facilitate much of the 1:1 with team members and supervisors. Don't wait for someone to reach out to you....be proactive. The company is young and still developing efficiencies and processes.
