Pros
Great people, fun industry. Opportunities to advance if you know who to talk to. They've made significant changes in the past few years to address concerns and implement more structure and support instead of relying on disorganized tribal knowledge. Office was recently renovated and they put effort into making it welcoming for everyone, good location for public transit.
Cons
Growth for the sake of growth has burned people out and most of the profit goes to the investment company anyways. Streamlining revenue has disconnected them from the industry, which puts them at risk from a cheaper competitor. If someone is disliked by an executive or asks the wrong question, they are quietly added to the list for the next round of layoffs, instead of receiving support or a candid conversation. Management undervalues the time and resources required for creative work, ironically.
