Pros

Everybody is so friendly and kind. Pay and benefits are good. Educational scholarships are great and so beneficial to those who wish to forward their careers in healthcare. Holiday bonus is generous

Cons

Holidays off come out of PTO; no chance for pay increase besides annual raise or promotion

Thank you for your review and your dedication to our hospital! In regards to your comment under "Cons", it's true that you must use PTO for holidays. However, PTO includes sick time, vacation, and holiday time. Instead of having three separate categories, the equivalent accruals all go into one bucket that you can use for PTO. If you don't use any PTO all year, you will see that you accrue 2 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days, and 7 holidays (all at 8 hour days) totaling 160 hours per year of full-time employment for the first 5 years. So we do in fact offer paid holidays, but the time is distributed to you to use whenever you need it, not just on holidays.
