They didn't use any of the training materials I put together. This office job was set out on the manufacturing floor. It was very noisy, poorly heated in the winter and the fan was dirty from the grimy air. They assigned me to do manufacturing audits that I was unqualified to do and ignored my requests to train in assembling devices in order to better perform audits. Since they wouldn't train me properly, I tried to supplement by watching assembly videos in order to better perform my audits. Before the year was done, they ran out of work for me to do. Poor budgeting on their part led to me and several other workers getting laid off. They laid me off the moment I came into work one morning with zero notice.
