Pros
If you like working with a bunch of people from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds, this is the place to be! Many of the employees are fluent in more than one language, so there is definitely an international feel when you walk in. The parent company is in Japan, and like many Japanese companies, it's an open office environment, so it's easy to know if others are available to help if you need assistance. The employees are quite friendly and willing to help. They often share words of encouragement when someone makes a successful sale or shares helpful info with the others. The recent (Jan 2019) addition of 401(k) was really nice. Receiving a bonus at the end of the fiscal year was also nice. Toho has established one day a month as a work-from-home day. Toho also has regular company outings and all employees are encouraged to participate.
Cons
Having to walk out of the office and down the hall to get to a small bathroom shared with everyone else in the building is annoying, especially if it happens to be busy. It's right across the street from a Metra station, so there are times when it's really noisy in the office.
