Pros

This company attracts great and innovative talent because of their heritage however they don't retain it (I'll mention more in the cons). Benefits are decent however they effect employee pay rate. Don't expect to be particularly satisfied for long.

Cons

This company has all the appearances of trying to improve but they continuously fall short on fundamentals. They have very bad internal communication. Neither upper management nor HR acts on ideas or criticisms even though they have policies for such things. The truly innovative people in this company are at the bottom and what's innovation without the possibility of execution? People are promoted to management out of convenience not generally because they deserve it (or would be good at it) leaving some bitter and others overly inflated. The take-home pay is very low but they say it's comparable to the banking industry when the benefits are considered (note: the salary for positions that are not "banking", like IT, is not comparable to the IT industry but the banking industry which means they don't generally retain valuable people in these fields). In summation: Upper management does what they want, HR doesn't listen or act, there's an overall "bro" mentality, good people leave and there's lots of drama due to unhappiness.

The culture, benefits, work-life balance, and overall contribution to the community is what I value and appreciate the most.

Some processes are still evolving as the company continues to grow

Pros

The Benefits is the best part of the company.

Cons

Management doesn't care about lower-level employees. When you voice your opinions, it is taken like you are not being a team player and you will get a warning from HR. The Communication between departments is non-existent. Each department just worries about themselves and when new procedures are updated, they are not communicated with the other areas. Management seems like they care about your concerns, but in the long run nothing gets fixed. If you are not in management then they really dont care. There is no room for advancements, they care more about DEI than and push a lot of DEI programs on their employees. The company is very persistent about sales, even though they say to not be pushy but then push you to make sales with everyone.
