Pros
Good if you're young and starting out in banking/finance, could lead to promotion within branch if you stick around (not always)
Cons
Low pay, not livable wage. Quarterly commission is based on your 'sales' even though the job "is not sales based or sales focused". High turnover rate for service counselors bc its just too much work for so little pay and having a rough work schedule during the week. High foot traffic so there's minimal time to check emails and answer phones. Also you have to cold call members to upsell services weekly if not daily.
