Pros

The company still feels like a start up even though its been around quite a while. Seems to be very healthy financially. The products it sells are not going away - regulations by accrediting agencies drives up the need for Tk20 and companies like it. The people who work at this company are fun to be around and are very good at what they do. It's still small enough to have an impact no matter what area you work in.

Cons

After what has been healthy, steady growth for 12 years, it's been growing much faster over the last year. That means more revenue but growing pains, too. Still needs policies and procedures in many areas that it didn't necessarily need as a start-up. Cubicle environment but walls have literally come down over last year.

Thank you for your thoughtful comments - we are agree 100% with your suggestions. We are working hard in 2015 to design and implement the policies and procedures that are lacking. We take our employees well-being and professional satisfaction seriously. With some key executive decisions filled, we are working in all departments to successfully do short-term forecasting so that we have the resources on hand to meet our growth! Check back and let us know how we're doing!

Pros

Tk20 and its people strive to continuously improve the work place as well as the product itself...and it shows. I can truly say that I enjoy working here with my colleagues and friends. Knowing that my work and what I do is having an impact and is appreciated is a great feeling and provides additional motivation to work harder.

Cons

Scheduling of employee appreciation/general celebratory events should happen further ahead of time. I have a tendency to miss them!

Pros

Great coworkers who are smart, passionate about their jobs, and willing to help you with anything All the La Croix and coffee you can drink, all the Costco snacks you can eat Work from home one day/week Overall, the office is upbeat and happy - there has never been a day when I dreaded coming to work Annual boat party Work/life balance is generally good, although it can get busy and stressful at times If you're starting your career or looking to enter the tech industry, the company is great launch pad

Cons

Zero strategy in terms of company structure and the product itself - it constantly changes. Customers have noticed and they aren't pleased. Little to no room for advancement: The company has stopped promoting from within and if you're doing well in your current position, then they are very unwilling to let you change roles. Benefits have improved, but they aren't the best and many people leave once they start a family. Employees aren't given the resources to do their jobs - you can't build a great company with mediocre support.
