Good company so far - Distribution Clerk Tipper Tie Employee Review

Tipper Tie is an awesome company with great people working there. Niche product that is needed in the food processing industry provides a lot of security. If you work hard you'll be taken care of financially as well as advancement opportunities if available. I really miss working there. This company was like a family to me for many years, still is!

Not many, but I guess meeting the expectations of parent company could be an issue. Could be a very positive asset though.

- New ownership by JBT Corporation. They understand food processing, how to sell to those customers, and the importance of after market support. We have many of the same customers and are starting to share opportunities across different business units. Great potential for the sales team. - Morale is on the upswing - Participation in global functional team projects (R&D, HR, Marketing) adds excitement and new possibilities - Many women in upper management and C-suite positions - Excellent 401K benefits - IT infrastructure supports working remote from any computer, although company does not have an official work from home policy - Parent company is willing to invest in Tipper Tie (new hires, etc.)

- Only starting to recover from the mess that former parent company and leadership team created. Years of layoffs and bad business decisions resulted in many lost customers and a feeling of hopelessness for the employees. This will take time to heal. - Under staffed in support functions like IT and Accounting. These folks are having to work far too much overtime, for too long.
